Law360, New York (June 30, 2011, 1:54 PM ET) -- Mercedes-Benz USA LLC and T. Rowe Price Group Inc. this week reached settlements in Texas federal court with Webvention LLC, which had accused them and several other companies of infringing a data-organization patent.
The agreements quickly settle allegations, first levied in April, that the companies infringed U.S. Patent Number 5,251,294 through their websites. Details on the settlements were not included in motions for approval of the deals that were filed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Attorneys for the companies could not immediately be reached Thursday.
