Law360, Los Angeles (June 30, 2011, 6:26 PM ET) -- Luxury home accessories maker Angela Adams Designs LLC lodged a complaint in Maine on Thursday alleging that a bed comforter made by Leggett & Platt Inc. and sold by online retailer CSN Stores LLC ripped off its copyrighted design.
Angela Adams claims that Leggett's Dali comforter looks too similar to its design for blue-colored housewares that are decorated by dark colored oval shapes. The suit also targets Leggett subsidiary Southern Textiles Inc. for manufacturing the bedding.
