Dow, Others Dropped From Plastic Additives MDL

Law360, New York (July 05, 2011, 5:52 PM ET) -- Direct purchasers in multidistrict litigation accusing the Dow Chemical Co., Rohm & Haas Co. and Union Carbide Corp. of fixing prices for plastic additives dropped their claims against the companies Thursday in Pennsylvania after losing their second bid for class certification.

U.S. District Judge Legrome D. Davis signed off on a stipulated dismissal with prejudice, leaving only Arkema Inc. as a defendant in the suit.
