High Court's IP Rulings In Rare Accord With Fed. Circ.

Law360, San Diego (July 11, 2011, 2:58 PM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court this past term reversed course with intellectual property cases, leaning in favor of IP holders' rights and upholding all three appellate court opinions it reviewed.

Although no radical changes have been made to IP law as a result of the rulings, the relationship between the Supreme Court and Federal Circuit appears to be evolving, according to James Foster, a senior IP litigator at Wolf Greenfield & Sacks PC.
