Purdue, Impax Patent Fight Comes To An End

Law360, New York (May 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A patent infringement suit filed over blockbuster painkiller OxyContin has been dismissed, after a court approved the settlement reached between OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma and generic pharmaceutical company Impax Laboratories.

Judge Sidney Stein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Friday entered a consent judgment, bringing an end to several of the cases pending against Purdue Pharma.
