Mattel Protests $108M Fee Award Recommendation

Law360, New York (July 08, 2011, 8:02 PM ET) -- Mattel Inc. is protesting a California federal court's $108 million attorneys' fee award recommendation for MGA Entertainment Inc., claiming it should be allowed to see its opponent's invoices in a trade secrets and contract battle over a former Mattel employee's idea for Bratz dolls, a motion unsealed Wednesday revealed.
