NASA Contractor Denies Fraud Over Space Vehicle Parts

Law360, New York (July 11, 2011, 1:40 PM EDT) -- A Texas businessman pled not guilty Friday to falsifying inspection reports for space vehicle parts that were part of more than $286,000 in NASA contracts.

The seven-page indictment against Roger Lewis Pulley, an owner and operations manager of Aerotech Precision Manufacturing Inc., was returned by a federal grand jury in Houston on June 15. It accuses the businessman of fraud involving space vehicle parts and false statements, based on allegedly bogus inspection results showing that the parts at issue were up to quality standards.
