Anheuser Sues Insurer For $8M Club Fire Settlement

Law360, New York (July 14, 2011, 1:18 PM ET) -- Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. sued National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., in Missouri federal court on Wednesday seeking $8 million to cover defense and settlement costs in a suit over an infamous Rhode Island nightclub fire that killed 100 people in 2003.

Anheuser-Busch's suit accuses National Union of breach of contract and vexatious refusal to pay.
