Paul Allen's Web IP Suit V. AOL, Others Still In Flux

Law360, New York (July 14, 2011, 7:50 PM ET) -- A Washington federal court on Tuesday reaffirmed the decision to put on hold Paul Allen's suit against AOL Inc., Apple Inc. and nine other technology and retail companies pending a re-examination of web patents the Microsoft Corp. co-founder alleges were infringed.

District Judge Marsha J. Pechman said Allen's company, Interval Licensing LLC, failed to provide sufficient justification for reconsideration of a stay order granted in Interval's suit.
