BAA Must Sell Airports, UK Antitrust Agency Confirms

Law360, New York (July 19, 2011, 7:48 PM EDT) -- The U.K. Competition Commission on Tuesday confirmed that BAA Airports Ltd. must sell off three of its transportation hubs in London and Scotland, despite the airport ownership group's protests.

The decision affirmed the Competition Commission's provisional decision in March to adopt a 2009 report that BAA sell Stansted and Gatwick airports, as well as one if its airports in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
