ParkerVision Sues Qualcomm Over Integrated Circuits

Law360, New York (July 22, 2011, 2:21 PM ET) -- ParkerVision Inc. slapped wireless technology company Qualcomm Inc. with a lawsuit Wednesday in Florida federal court, claiming that Qualcomm integrated circuits used in cellphones and mobile devices infringe seven patents.

ParkerVision's suit names San Diego-based Qualcomm as the only defendant and seeks damages as well as injunctive relief.

The plaintiff alleges that Qualcomm is importing, making, using and selling integrated circuits with direct conversion receiver technology that infringes the patents.
