US Steel Trader Sues Feds Over S. Korean Pipe Duties

Law360, Los Angeles (July 21, 2011, 8:25 PM EDT) -- Specialty steel trader Kurt Orban Partners LLC filed a complaint in the U.S. Court of International Trade on Thursday contesting the U.S. Department of Commerce’s final determination after an administrative review of an anti-dumping order on steel pipe imported from South Korea.

The complaint, filed on the last day of a 30-day window to challenge the review, seeks to force Commerce to alter anti-dumping duties it imposed on circular welded nonalloy steel pipe exported to the U.S. by six South Korean companies.
