Law360, New York (July 27, 2011, 1:20 PM ET) -- Affinity Labs of Texas LLC widened its patent offensive against Apple Inc. in Texas on Tuesday, claiming the iPhone maker infringed technology that links portable media devices to car audio systems.
Affinity alleges that Apple's iPod, iPod touch and iPhone devices infringe U.S. Patent Numbers 7,634,228 and 7,778,595, which relate to a method for receiving audio content from the Internet over a wireless electronic device, including using the device to communicate with a car audio system.
