JPML Mulls Consolidating Google, Apple Privacy Suits

Law360, New York (July 27, 2011, 7:42 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation will hear arguments Thursday in San Francisco on whether to consolidate more than 30 proposed class actions accusing Apple Inc. and Google Inc. of violating consumer privacy laws by offering smartphone applications that allegedly track user data.
