Diageo Settles SEC Bribery Claims For $16M

Law360, New York (July 27, 2011, 5:02 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced Wednesday that alcoholic-beverage maker Diageo PLC will pay over $16 million to settle claims that it bribed government officials in India, Thailand and South Korea for at least six years.
