NLRB Denies Congress' Info Request In Boeing-Union Fight

Law360, New York (July 27, 2011, 8:53 PM EDT) -- The National Labor Relations Board's head lawyer on Tuesday refused a top congressional Republican's request that he turn over agency documents on Boeing Co.'s decision to put a new production line in employer-friendly South Carolina.

Giving Congress access to documents that Boeing and its union do not have would seriously compromise the NLRB process, acting NLRB General Counsel Lafe Solomon told House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa in a letter obtained by Law360.
