US Seeks Up To 15 Years For Convicted Va. Lawmaker

Law360, New York (July 28, 2011, 12:26 PM EDT) -- Prosecutors urged a Virginia federal court Wednesday to send a former state legislator to prison for up to 15 years for trading state money for a job at Old Dominion University, saying "his insidious and shameful conduct" merited severe punishment.
