Law360, New York (July 27, 2011, 7:32 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission announced Wednesday that it would investigate Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.'s allegations that Apple Inc. is importing smartphones, portable music devices and tablet computers that infringe its patents.
Samsung filed a complaint with the ITC last month, claiming that Apple's iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad products infringe five patents for wireless communication devices, portable music and data processing devices, and tablet computers that contain those devices.
