Borders Wants To Sell Off IP Assets

Law360, New York (July 28, 2011, 7:53 PM EDT) -- Beleaguered bookseller Borders Group Inc. told a New York bankruptcy court on Wednesday that it plans to sell certain intellectual property rights and customer information at auction as part of its liquidation process.

“The debtors are in the midst of liquidating their assets and closing their stores. Thus, the debtors no longer need their IP assets,” the motion said.
