DOI Accused Of Interfering With Scientist's Enviro Work

Law360, New York (July 29, 2011, 7:50 PM EDT) -- A public employee group on Thursday accused U.S. Department of the Interior officials of suspending an agency scientist over a 2006 climate change article in order to disrupt Arctic ecological studies worth $48 million for political reasons.

Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility filed a complaint on behalf of Charles Monnett with the agency's Office of the Executive Secretariat and Regulatory Affairs.
