Law360, New York (August 02, 2011, 1:18 PM ET) -- Wellogix Technology Licensing LLC sued business outsourcing solutions provider Automatic Data Processing Inc., ExxonMobil Corp. subsidiary XTO Energy Inc. and several other energy companies in Texas on Tuesday, alleging they used or sold software that infringed a transaction processing patent.
Wellogix wasted no time filing the suit, lodging its complaint the same day that the asserted patent issued. In addition to ADP and XTO, the suit names Hunt Oil Co., Noble Energy Inc., Sandridge Energy Inc., Southwestern Energy Production Co. and Encana Oil & Gas (USA)...
