Obama Taps 2 For Federal Bench

Law360, New York (August 3, 2011, 7:03 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama on Tuesday nominated U.S. District Judge Adalberto Jose Jordan for a seat on the Eleventh Circuit and McDonald Carano Wilson LLP attorney Miranda Du for a federal judgeship in Nevada.

Judge Jordan, who serves in the Southern District of Florida, was born in Cuba and clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor after his graduation from the University of Miami School of Law in 1987.
