Comcast Loses Emergency Bid To Pull DirecTV NFL Ads

Law360, New York (August 9, 2011, 6:19 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal judge on Tuesday rejected Comcast Cable Communications LLC's bid for a temporary restraining order blocking DirecTV Inc. from running allegedly false advertisements for its NFL Sunday Ticket service, finding Comcast had not shown the ads caused irreparable injury.
