Boeing Looks To Toss Ex-Auditor's False Claims Suit

Law360, New York (August 08, 2011, 6:21 PM ET) -- The Boeing Co. moved Monday to dismiss a former auditing employee's Missouri suit claiming Boeing and subcontractor Brek Manufacturing Co. cheated the federal government out of millions while supplying the U.S. Air Force with heavy lift aircraft on procedural grounds.

David Lee Bernat, formerly a senior specialist in Boeing's supplier audit department, launched the suit in Missouri federal court in April 2009, accusing Brek and Boeing of violating the False Claims Act by submitting inflated prices for C-17 aircraft to the government.
