Dole, Shell Sued Over Chemical At Farms In Philippines

Law360, New York (August 9, 2011, 2:13 PM EDT) -- More than 2,500 banana plantation farmers who worked for Dole Food Co. Inc. and others in the Philippines filed suit in California on Thursday, claiming their work exposed them to a banned toxic pesticide sold by Shell Chemical Co. and others.
