Law360, New York (August 09, 2011, 4:09 PM ET) -- Caliper Life Sciences Inc. and Carestream Health Inc. announced Monday that they had settled two pending patent lawsuits in Wisconsin and California over technology that allows for noninvasive imaging of live animals used in research related to finding disease treatments.
The companies have agreed to dismiss all outstanding claims and counterclaims stemming from the two actions. Carestream has also agreed not to market and sell live animal optical imaging systems covered by patents a Caliper unit licenses from Stanford University, according to a statement.
