Judge Won't Nix Wiretaps In Ex-Primary Global Exec Trial

Law360, New York (August 9, 2011, 7:55 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Monday rejected former Primary Global Research LLC executive James Fleishman's bid to get wiretap evidence thrown out of an upcoming criminal trial in which he is accused of facilitating insider trading.

U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff denied Fleishman's motion to exclude the evidence that investigators had gathered from six wiretap orders on two telephone lines, as well as any additional evidence that investigators had discovered through information revealed in those recordings.
