DC Circ. Revives Terror Suit Over DynCorp Worker Death

Law360, New York (August 12, 2011, 5:56 PM EDT) -- The D.C. Circuit on Friday revived a civil terrorism case against the Palestinian Authority, ruling that the family of a DynCorp International LLC contractor killed by a roadside bomb in Gaza can pursue their material support of terrorism claim.

The contractor, Mark Parsons, was killed in 2003 while providing security for a Department of State convoy in the Gaza Strip. The bomb that killed him and two other DynCorp employees was planted within 20 yards of a checkpoint manned by the Palestinian Authority.
