Anti-Health Care Reform Measure To Be On Ohio Ballot

Law360, New York (August 12, 2011, 10:00 PM EDT) -- The Ohio Supreme Court on Friday paved the way for a state constitutional amendment blocking implementation of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul to appear on the ballot in November.

A liberal advocacy group, ProgressOhio, challenged tens of thousands of signatures gathered to get the constitutional amendment on the ballot, alleging that paid circulators of so-called part-petitions incorrectly registered with the Ohio Secretary of State and failed to file compensation statements.
