Tecumseh, Others Agree To Finish Wis. Superfund Cleanup

Law360, New York (August 16, 2011, 5:20 PM EDT) -- The U.S. government reached a settlement Monday with Tecumseh Products Co. and others to finance and perform remediation work on the last remaining section of a Wisconsin Superfund site in need of cleanup along the Sheboygan River.

U.S. District Judge William C. Griesbach approved the U.S.' settlement concerning the Sheboygan River and Harbor Superfund site, an area with soil and surface water that Tecumseh's former Sheboygan Falls, Wis., facility contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls and heavy metals.
