Verizon, Sprint, Others Sued Over Modem Patent

Law360, New York (August 17, 2011, 7:44 PM ET) -- Brandywine Communications Technologies LLC on Tuesday continued its campaign to protect its modem technology patents, suing Verizon Communications Inc., Sprint Nextel Corp. and others in Florida federal court over the companies' broadband cards. 

Days after suing Verizon and three other wireless Internet providers over a group of patents, Brandywine’s latest suit alleges Verizon and its co-defendants infringed another one of its patents.
