Akin Gump Hires IP Team From Ailing Clifford Chance

Law360, New York (December 1, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two seasoned intellectual property litigators have quit Clifford Chance for Akin Gump with a team of associates, leaving the IP department of the world's largest law firm limping after a series of defections.

Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, one of the largest law firms in the U.S., said it had hired former Clifford Chance partners Michael A. O’Shea and Frank C. Cimino Jr. and four associates.
