Exec Gets $1M Bail In Auto Lights Price-Fixing Case

Law360, New York (August 19, 2011, 5:24 PM EDT) -- A California federal court agreed Thursday to release on a $1 million bond a Taiwanese executive facing criminal charges over his alleged participation in a global conspiracy to fix the prices of aftermarket auto lights.

Homy Hong-Ming Hsu, who served as vice chairman and head of sales at Eagle Eyes Traffic Industrial Co. Ltd., secured the bond from a magistrate judge Thursday, with the court docket showing a receipt for a $540,000 check from Eagle Eyes and a letter of credit from Mega Bank.
