Law360, New York (August 22, 2011, 4:00 PM ET) -- Walgreen Co. announced Monday that it had added former United Air Lines Inc. top lawyer Thomas J. Sabatino as its general counsel.
Sabatino will assume the roles of general counsel, executive vice president and corporate secretary on Sep. 12, replacing Dana Green, who is retiring after 37 years at Walgreen.
Prior to joining Walgreen, Sabatino, 52, held the general counsel's job at United Airlines, Schering-Plough Corp., Baxter International Inc. and American Medical International Inc., the announcement said.
