P&G Hit With Trade Secrets Suit Over EA Alliance

Law360, Los Angeles (August 23, 2011, 9:30 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts strategic consulting boutique sued the Proctor & Gamble Co. on Tuesday, claiming the household products giant ripped off its idea to form a strategic marketing alliance with video game company Electronic Arts Inc.

Alternative Productions Inc. filed the suit in Massachusetts federal court Tuesday, alleging P&G committed trade secret misappropriation when it ran with API’s idea for a Gillette-EA marketing partnership but failed to pay the company for creating the concept.
