ITC To Probe MyKey Computer Forensics Patent Claims

Law360, New York (August 24, 2011, 5:55 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Wednesday it would investigate MyKey Technology Inc.'s allegations that a slew of electronics companies have imported digital security products that violate three patents covering computer forensics devices.

The ITC said it had voted to institute a Section 337 investigation based on MyKey’s July 22 complaint, which mirrors a suit the Gaithersburg, Md.-based company has pending over the same patents in Delaware federal court.
