ITC To Review Cross Match Scanner Patent Ruling

Law360, New York (August 25, 2011, 3:56 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Wednesday it will review an ITC judge's ruling that Suprema Inc. infringed two patents for biometric scanning devices held by Cross Match Technologies Inc..

Chief Adminstrative Law Judge Paul J. Luckern issued a final initial determination in June that South Korea-based Suprema and Texas-based Mentalix Inc., which distributes Suprema's products, had infringed two of Cross Match's patents, violating section 337 of the Tariff Act.
