Law360, New York (August 24, 2011, 7:23 PM ET) -- An Indiana appeals court on Wednesday upheld the dismissal of a product liability and wrongful death lawsuit against Rolls-Royce Corp. and Honeywell International Inc. over a fatal 2008 helicopter crash, agreeing that British Columbia, where the accident occurred, was the better venue.
The parents of Isaiah Omondi Otieno, a Kenyan citizen and student who was killed in the crash, contended that the trial court erred in dismissing their suit on the grounds of forum non conveniens because British Columbia provided them with no economically adequate remedy....
