Ex-National Century CEO Takes Convictions To High Court

Law360, New York (August 25, 2011, 2:48 PM EDT) -- An attorney for former National Century Financial Enterprises Inc. CEO Lance Poulsen said Thursday he would petition the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn his client's convictions and 30-year sentence for allegedly engineering a $2.8 billion securities fraud.

William R. Terpening, of Anderson Terpening PLLC, said he would seek further relief in the nation's highest court after the Sixth Circuit earlier in the day affirmed Poulsen's securities fraud and obstruction of justice convictions.
