Ind. Pacers Owner's Fired Nanny Denied Mistrial

Law360, Los Angeles (August 25, 2011, 8:50 PM EDT) -- A California judge Thursday denied plaintiffs’ motion for mistrial in a lawsuit against billionaire Indiana Pacers owner Herb Simon and his wife brought by a former nanny who claims the couple fired her for becoming pregnant.

The nanny’s attorney, Joseph Davis, who also represents a chauffeur claiming the Simons terminated him for becoming sick, argued they were entitled to reopen the case to present rebuttal evidence.
