Facebook, Parody Site Settle Trademark Battle

Law360, New York (August 26, 2011, 12:05 PM EDT) -- Self-described parody website operator Lamebook LLC agreed Thursday not to seek trademark protection for its name as part of a settlement in a legal battle in Texas over whether the use of the term “Lamebook” infringed Facebook Inc.'s intellectual property rights.
