Law360, New York (August 26, 2011, 9:15 PM ET) -- Sirius XM Radio Inc. reached a tentative $2.2 million settlement in New York on Friday in a copyright infringement class action brought by a group of music publishers.
Nine record companies, including Nota Music Publishing Inc., JVN Music Inc. and The Music Force LLC, launched the suit in July 2007 against Sirius XM predecessor Sirius Satellite Radio Inc., which merged with rival XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. in July 2008.
