Zynga Gets Green Light For Brazilian Copyright Suit

Law360, New York (August 29, 2011, 7:05 PM EDT) -- The California federal judge overseeing Zynga Inc.'s copyright lawsuit against rival online gaming company Vostu USA Inc. on Friday rejected Vostu's bid for an injunction barring Zynga from pursuing a parallel suit in Brazil.

U.S. District Judge Edward J. Davila dissolved a temporary restraining order that prohibited Zynga from enforcing a Brazilian court's order requiring Vostu to shut down four of its most popular games in that country and said he would not issue a preliminary injunction.
