Law360, Chicago (August 30, 2011, 1:08 PM ET) -- Huron Consulting Services LLC can soon grill its former managing director about whether he's taken part in hiring ex-Huron employees for company rival Berkeley Research Group LLC, an Illinois judge ruled Tuesday in Huron's breach of contract suit.
Judge Michael Hyman granted Huron's motion for expedited discovery to allow for the deposition of Paul Osborne, whom Huron alleges has helped Berkeley poach Huron workers even though he is precluded from doing so by the employment contract he inked with the plaintiff.
