Law360, New York (August 31, 2011, 4:32 PM ET) -- CVS Pharmacy Inc. was slapped with a putative class action Tuesday in California state court alleging the pharmacy chain shortchanged night supervisors on their wages in order to pad its bottom line.
Eduardo Soto, a former night supervisor at CVS branches in Los Angeles and West Hollywood, claims in the suit that he was not paid for overtime work and was denied meal and rest breaks in violation of California labor laws.
