Judge Declares Praxair Patents Invalid

Law360, New York (June 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The latest development in a long-running patent patent battle between Praxair Inc. and ATMI Inc. has gone in ATMI's favor, after a judge ruled that two Praxair patents ATMI had been found liable for infringing were unenforceable because of inequitable conduct.

Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Sue Robinson issued an opinion and and order holding that U.S. Patent Numbers 6,045,115 and 6,007,609 were unenforceable because of inequitable conduct related to a failure to disclose prior art.
