J.Crew Renews Merger Settlement With Investors For $16M

Law360, Wilmington (September 1, 2011, 3:07 PM EDT) -- J.Crew Group Inc. and the private equity firms that purchased the retailer in March resurrected a settlement Wednesday with a class of shareholders that challenged the $3 billion deal in Delaware, upping the investors’ take to $16 million.

The deal tacks an additional $6 million onto a previous $10 million settlement that imploded in March, according to papers filed in the Delaware Chancery Court.
