Law360, New York (September 01, 2011, 5:27 PM ET) -- The Federal Circuit on Thursday affirmed one U.S. Patent and Trademark Office decision against SanDisk founder Eliyahou Harari in a dispute with Micron Technology Inc., but reversed another, leaving the USPTO to determine which company deserves a flash drive technology patent.
The court's published decision said that the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences correctly found Harari's claims in U.S. Patent Application 09/056,398 lacking in written support in an interference filed against Micron inventor Roger Lee.
