Union Pacific, Vertellus Settle UMinn CERCLA Suit For $5M

Law360, New York (September 02, 2011, 5:19 PM ET) -- Union Pacific Railroad Co. and chemical company Vertellus Specialties Inc. will pay the University of Minnesota $4.8 million to settle a lawsuit over cleanup costs at the site of the university's new football stadium, an attorney for the university told Law360 on Friday.
