Halliburton Accuses BP Of Lying About Macondo Blowout

Law360, New York (September 2, 2011, 4:24 PM EDT) -- Halliburton Energy Services Inc. on Thursday accused BP PLC in Texas state court of defaming it by lying about the existence of an important geological feature of the Macondo well it cemented under contract, a feature that would have changed the way Halliburton bonded the well.
